Our October membership meeting was a review of the NAHU website. We continued planning for future membership meetings and a potential event in the Spring. More to come!
Our November meeting was a social at the WXYZ Lounge in downtown Asheville. We also worked to finalize dates and locations for membership meetings in 2020. Our Chapter's September meeting was a service project. We volunteered at the Asheville Buncombe Christian Crisis Ministry and sorted clothes in their emergency clothing closet. Several of our agents also participated in a project in Spruce Pine helping to renovate a deck. We are finalizing our schedule for our chapter meetings for the year and have topics planned including a visit from the NAHU president, information from the Department of Labor, legislative updates, HRA's and much more. www.wncahu. org
The Board of Western NCAHU held a retreat in July and made plans for an exciting year. We are now in the process of setting up a schedule and securing topic speakers.
