The NCAHU Form is the primary way NCAHU leaders communicate with the membership. Forum articles are used for the monthly NCAHU newsletter. Once per month IIANC staff will search through the Forum page by category searching for the latest articles. Each local president, NCAHU President, and NCAHU committee chairs have a category to post their articles. So there is a lot to share with our members. The newsletter itself contains only a small snippet of the content with links back to the full articles. Categories with no current content will simply link back to the category itself, for example, Technology. So feel free to add articles in the Forum. The more articles, the better! If you're on the leadership team and you're new to posting in the Forum page, look for the article "NCAHU Forum User Guide" for detailed instructions.
We welcome the new challenges for 2020-21!
While most of the chapters have shifted or updated many of the leadership positions, The Triad Chapter has decided to keep the leadership team mainly intact for the upcoming year. Not only did it take some time to grow into the responsibilities of each position, but we felt like we were just hitting our stride when we had the COVID-19 challenges thrown at us.
We were delighted to be recognized nationally by NAHU as having a "stellar" retention rate, and part of that reason is because of the experience and dedication of some of our current leaders. We have to build on that success, and we have to be creative to come up with new ideas to keep our members engaged.
We have some new ideas for the upcoming meetings, both in content and the way that it is delivered. While we look forward to in-person meetings again, we know that our task is to give our members valuable insight and information to make them grow, both professionally, and even personally! We won't lose sight of that mission.
Bring on the new year, we're ready for it!
