Wow! Who would have thunk it??? Being the Executive Director for NCAHU from 1994-2017; it never really occurred to me that I would one day be President of NCAHU!
I am beyond excited and humbled to be President for the 2021-2022 year. I have worked with many great leaders throughout the years who have made NCAHU one of the most respected state chapters in the country!! While we’ve had our ups and downs, we rallied and we persevered! I want to especially thank Andrew Kaiser and Dan Odorizzi for their leadership these last 3 years! Dan did not have an easy job of steering this association during a global pandemic, but we pulled together, and made it through, ready to meet the challenges facing us.
What changes have you had to make? What did you really miss doing during this time of uncertainty? Meeting in person with clients? Getting to hug those family members you could only see via FaceTime or Zoom? What professional and personal skills do you want to develop to help you succeed moving forward? NCAHU has an exciting year ahead! We have our (virtual) Medicare Summits happening this month, and our in-person Symposium taking place in partnership with the IIANC in September. We have a great team assembled whose goal is to provide you with the tools and resources needed in this ever changing industry!
Yes, we are in the middle of summer. School is out, vacations are happening and the thought of Open Enrollment hasn’t even come to the forefront of our minds. Unfortunately, time has a habit of catching up with us and before you know it, we’re right in the thick of things!! Rest assured, NCAHU will be ready to help in any way possible!!
