    May 2022 Federal L&L Update

    -Late last week, the IRS released updates to the maximum annual 2023 contribution limits for Health Savings Accounts under high-deductible health plans. These adjustments, which have increased slightly from 2022, apply to both individual and family coverage.


    -The Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation held a hearing yesterday on “ensuring fairness and transparency in the market for prescription drugs,” with a specific focus on the role of pharmacy benefit managers.


    -The Biden administration has officially suspended Georgia’s 1332 innovation waiver to overhaul the state’s individual market, yet another installment in a two-year-long conflict between CMS and the Peach State.
