-CMS issued guidance this week with additional information about the new Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program, which reiterates previously defined timelines.
-In this week’s mergers and acquisitions news: UnitedHealth Group officially acquired home health provider LHC Group in a deal valued at $5.4 billion. Meanwhile, VillageMD (majority-owned by Walgreens) announced acquisition of Connecticut primary care and multi-specialty group Starling Physicians.
