As we come into the Fall season, as seasons change so do we. Fourth quarter for so many of us is our
busy, busy time. Remember, always take some time to enjoy the beauty around us. Array of colors,
crisp felling of a fall breeze, cloud formations and, what we do for our clients-- provide information of what we deliver in all aspects of how we define "Benefits and Insurance Professionals."
The Charlotte Chapter is well on our way to get the 2022-2023 term up and running. September 14, 2022,
is our strategic planning luncheon for members and non members alike. Our own Carol Matznick is joining us as we create conversation on our message and what our members need from their association.
Personally, I had the honor to attend the NC State President and Executive Board meeting. Meeting other Chapter Presidents, opened my eyes up to the fact we are not alone in rebuilding our association.
The creativity, energy, passion in the meeting was contagious. It does go to show-- "an old dog has tricks to learn."
Finally, last week, I met with an Agent in MI, Suzy Alberts, we connected through the "Power Hour" we offer our members. We figured out we met in the early 90's in a health underwriters meeting through the Detroit
Chapter-- what a fabulous networking opportunity. All I can say is "Way Cool" to connect!!
In wrapping up, embrace change. My new mantra-- give someone a smile, they may need it. You never know who is next to you. Comparing to a wrapped gift, until you open that gift, you won't know what is inside.
Please drive safe, keep your distance, slow down-- 5 minutes doesn't care you there any faster.
President, Charlotte Chapter
