The Charlotte Chapter is quickly adapting to the virtual environment that COVID-19 has created. We have added a new board member and are welcoming back several more for the 2020-2021 term. The CAHU website was hacked last year but we have created a new and improved website for our local chapter members. We are pleased to announce the roll out of the new website www.cahunc.org.
Please visit our website for additional event details, leadership contact info, NAHU resources, and much more! We will continue to make improvements to the website throughout the year so stay tuned! We are very proud of our media relations & communications chair, Michael Roloson, for all his hard work developing our new chapter website. Michael has played a key role on our board this year as he has helped greatly with all challenges and learning curves relating to technology.
At the end of last year, we had several great events canceled due to COVID-19. We are working with our technology officer, media relations chair, and past president to get these exciting events rescheduled and offered in a new format that is safe for all attendees.
We are very busy in Charlotte developing a full calendar of events this year. Please consider joining us at one of our virtual events or in person if you have not connected with our chapter recently. If you have connected with us, please extend an invitation to a guest and help us continue the fight to save the future of our industry! Please stay tuned, and know that we are working hard to make your membership in NAHU a valuable one!
